Joy Company - Competition Teams

​The Joy Company Competition Teams have the opportunity to impact the community as well a chance to grow individually as a dancer!  All of the Joy Company Teams will compete in competitions throughout the year. The teams generally do around three mandatory competitions & optional competitions are offered to all throughout the year. 

Joy Company dancers complete a weekly curriculum of classes designed to develop them technically as dancers.  They will be placed in ballet, jazz, lyrical and/or hip hop classes to help them become a well- rounded dancer. Additionally, the company members will attend one weekly company class together where they will work on technical elements and choreography as a team.

The dancers will be encouraged to pursue personal growth and community impact as well.  With that, the Company dancers will perform monthly in community outreach events such as; senior living homes, children's homes, and local festivals.
