We highly recommend wearing masks, although we will not require them. Upon entering the front door office staff will be checking the dancers temperature & sanitizing their hands. Dancers will put their dance shoes on & dance bags in the lobby cubbies then see their dance teacher. Dancers will be given dance space indicated by blue squares spaced 6 feet apart in accordance with CDC guidelines. Dancers will have the option of zooming in classes or attending live. All classes will be 45 minutes long so that teachers & staff have 15 minutes for sanitizing and cleaning. We have also installed UV sanitizing technology in our Air system, As well as Covid-19 cleaners coming three times a week. At the end of each class Dancers will exit the back door & be picked up On time. Students waiting for the next class to begin will be provide table & pop up tent with office staff in the sunshine. Stretching may be in fact one of the most important aspects of preparing for your dance classes. With tighter and stiffer muscles during the cooler season, your chances of pulling or injuring a muscle increases. You want to make sure you have the fluidity needed to perform your complex dance moves confidently.
Dynamic Stretching gradually increases the range of motion used and gradually increases the heart rate and increases lubrication to your joints. This is best for your warm up.
Static Stretching is great at the end of class during the cool down. This helps prevent sore muscles as well as helps increase the muscles flexibility if done routinely.
Proper stretching can lead to increased balance, stability, posture and flexibility, while decreasing the risk of injury. This all will lead to a more fluent dancer!
