Dancing For Joy is a counter-cultural dance studio located at 11691 Boyette Rd. Riverview, Florida 33569 is Opening Soon!

The studio is currently operating out of the West Location 11331 US Highway 301 south suite 102 in Riverview.

Dancing for Joy was founded in 2010 by Ms. April Joy and her daughter, Kate. The studio began by offering classes at Tampa Bay HEAT and, in 2018, expanded into Winthrop Plaza. By March 2020, it became clear that DFJ had outgrown that space, leading to a move to a North Location on Bloomingdale Avenue.

As the community continued to grow, a second location was opened next to Flow Fitness Boutique. However, that space, too, could no longer contain the joy!

Opening soon 2025, A new, expanded home in Riverview, featuring three state-of-the-art studios all under one roof.

From just 30 students in the early days to now serving over 300 enrolled dancers, Dancing for Joy continues to grow, thanks to the passion of teamwork and the support of this incredible community.

You will experience a team of dedicated teachers that love their students unconditionally. Your dancers will be provided with an environment that encourages students to 'shine their light' inside and outside the studio! Your dancer will get help to become the best dancer that they were created to be and the best version of self that they were destined to be.
